In a somber turn of events, Anthony Joshua, the two-time heavyweight champion, has returned to the United Kingdom under tragic circumstances. The renowned boxer is set to attend the funeral of Latif Ayodele and Sina Ghami, two of his closest friends who tragically lost their lives in a car accident in Lagos, Nigeria.

The accident occurred on Monday, leaving Joshua injured and claiming the lives of his two companions. The boxing community has been left in shock and mourning following the untimely deaths of Ayodele and Ghami, who were described by Joshua as his ‘brothers’.

Joshua, known for his resilience both in and out of the ring, has yet to make a detailed public statement about the incident. However, his presence at the funeral service will undoubtedly speak volumes about the bond he shared with his late friends.

The boxing world stands in solidarity with Joshua during this difficult time, offering condolences and support as he navigates through this personal tragedy.
