Anthony Joshua, the two-time heavyweight champion, has made his way back to the UK under somber circumstances to attend the funeral of two dear friends, Latif Ayodele and Sina Ghami. The duo tragically lost their lives in a car accident in Lagos, Nigeria, an incident that also left Joshua injured.

The accident occurred on a fateful Monday in Lagos, where the trio were traveling together. The boxing community and fans worldwide have been left in shock and mourning following the untimely deaths of Ayodele and Ghami, who were described by Joshua as his ‘brothers’.

Joshua, known for his resilience both in and out of the ring, has yet to make a detailed public statement about the incident. The focus remains on honoring the lives of his late friends and supporting their grieving families during this difficult time.
