Anthony Joshua, the two-time heavyweight champion, has made his way back to the UK under somber circumstances following a tragic incident in Nigeria. The British boxing sensation was involved in a car accident in Lagos on Monday, which resulted in the untimely deaths of two of his closest friends, Latif Ayodele and Sina Ghami.

The accident has left the boxing community in mourning, as Joshua often referred to Ayodele and Ghami as his ‘brothers.’ The trio was reportedly traveling together when the unfortunate event occurred, leaving Joshua injured and his companions fatally wounded.

In his first public statement since the accident, Joshua expressed his profound grief and paid tribute to his late friends. The boxing world now waits as Joshua prepares to attend the funerals of Ayodele and Ghami, a heartbreaking task for the heavyweight champion.
