In the heart of Lower Manhattan, Uprising Promotions once again proved why they are a force to be reckoned with in the boxing world. Their latest event, Frozen Fury, held at the historic Léman Ballroom, was a night to remember, filled with thrilling bouts and an atmosphere that was nothing short of electric.
The event lived up to its name, delivering a night of intense action that kept the crowd on the edge of their seats from start to finish. The amateur fighters showcased incredible skill, heart, and determination, leaving everything in the ring. The energy from the New York City crowd was palpable, with every punch and every round met with roaring applause and cheers.
The Léman Ballroom at 41 Broad Street has become synonymous with Uprising Promotions’ events, and Frozen Fury was no exception. The venue was packed, creating an atmosphere that is uniquely New York. “This is exactly why we do these shows,” said Ronson Frank, President of Uprising Promotions. “The fighters showed up, the crowd showed up, and the energy in that room was incredible all night long. Nights like this remind you why fight night in New York City is so special.”
Frozen Fury was more than just a boxing event; it was a testament to the power of the sport to bring about positive change. In association with Bigvision Community and HIIT the Deck Boxing Gym, the event highlighted Uprising Promotions’ commitment to supporting young adults in recovery from substance abuse. “What makes these events truly meaningful is that they stand for something bigger than boxing,” Frank added. “The action in the ring was outstanding, but the impact we are making together in the community is what really matters.”
The card featured a diverse lineup of local and regional fighters, all eager to make their mark. Gyms such as Bua Boxing, Champs Boxing Club, Gleason’s Gym, Gotham Gym, Hudson Boxing Gym, and The Last Round NYC were all represented, adding to the rich tapestry of the night’s events.
