Jaime Munguía, the WBO junior middleweight champion, has set his sights on a new challenge: the vacant IBF title. The Mexican pugilist is reportedly targeting Osleys Iglesias, the mandatory challenger for the belt, for a potential showdown in the near future.

Munguía, known for his aggressive fighting style and impressive knockout power, has been a dominant force in the 154-pound division. His most recent victory came against Patrick Teixeira in November 2021, where he secured a unanimous decision to retain his WBO title.

Iglesias, on the other hand, has been making waves in the division with his impressive performances. The Cuban boxer has a record of 12-0, with 7 knockouts, and is eager to capture his first world title. His last fight was a unanimous decision victory against Darren Osborne in March 2022.

The potential clash between Munguía and Iglesias promises to be an exciting one, as both fighters are known for their offensive prowess and willingness to engage. Fans can expect a thrilling display of boxing skills and power punching when these two meet in the ring.
