Pierce O'Leary, the reigning European super lightweight champion, is set to make his Dublin homecoming on March 14, 2026, at the 3Arena. The highly anticipated event will see O'Leary, nicknamed 'Big Bang,' face off against Mark Chamberlain for the vacant IBO super lightweight title.

O'Leary, a 25-year-old orthodox puncher from Dublin's Docklands, boasts an impressive undefeated record of 17-0, with 9 of his wins coming by way of knockout. He will be put to the test by Chamberlain, a 26-year-old southpaw with a formidable record of 17-1-1 and a 71% knockout rate.

The bout is scheduled to take place over 12 rounds at 140 lbs and will serve as the co-main event under the Jazza Dickens vs. Anthony Cacace fight for the WBA super featherweight title. The event will be broadcast live on DAZN, giving fans around the world the opportunity to witness the excitement.

O'Leary, who is currently ranked #6 by the WBC and #13 by the IBF at super lightweight, is eager to make a strong impression in his hometown. He views this fight as a potential launchpad for regular appearances in Dublin, should he emerge victorious and draw significant local support.

In a unique promotional move, O'Leary has released an Instagram Reel trailer that showcases his passion for both boxing and horses. The trailer features O'Leary riding through the inner city of Dublin, hyping up the crowd for the 'St. Patrick's Day Weekend' card and encouraging fans to purchase tickets for the 3Arena event.

With both fighters having an equal number of professional rounds (91 each), the matchup is poised to be an exciting and closely contested affair. O'Leary's momentum will be put to the test by Chamberlain's power, making for a high-stakes encounter that is not to be missed.
