In a highly anticipated event, the charismatic and ever-entertaining Tyson Fury is set to make his grand return to the boxing ring this Saturday, April 11th. The former heavyweight champion will face off against the formidable Arslanbek Makhmudov at the iconic Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London. This comeback marks Fury’s return after a 16-month hiatus, following his retirement announcement post his defeat to Oleksandr Usyk in December 2024.

Fury, known for his unique tributes and respect for boxing legends, has announced that he will pay a special homage to the beloved Ricky Hatton during this comeback fight. This gesture is a testament to Fury’s deep-rooted respect for the sport’s history and its icons.

The event is not just a significant moment for Fury but also for the streaming giant Netflix, which will broadcast the fight live. This marks Netflix’s continued venture into the world of boxing, promising to bring high-profile fights to a global audience. The main card is scheduled to begin at 2 PM ET / 1 PM CT, with the main event ring walks expected around 5 PM ET / 4 PM CT. Prelims will start at 11 AM ET / 10 AM CT on Tudum and Ring Magazine socials.

Fury, with a record of 34-2-1 and 24 KOs, is the overwhelming favorite at 1/7 odds, while Makhmudov, boasting a record of 21-2 and 19 KOs, is listed at 15/1. Despite the odds, Fury is approaching this fight with a renewed sense of purpose and determination. “For the first time in forever, I’m the hunter,” Fury declared at the final press conference. He promised a destructive knockout, stating, “He will be knocked spark out on the canvas looking up, thinking: ‘What just happened there?’ But it’s no shame because he’s fighting the great Tyson Fury.”

Fury’s retirement in January 2025 was short-lived, as he has once again decided to grace the ring with his presence. “People always question retirement for me,” Fury said. “I’ve successfully come back four times, and we’re going to find out on Saturday night if I’m going to be successful for the fifth time, which I believe I will be.”

The co-main event features another high-profile bout between Conor Benn and Regis Prograis, adding to the excitement of the evening. With a star-studded card and the promise of thrilling action, this event is set to captivate boxing fans worldwide.

As the boxing world eagerly awaits Fury’s return, one thing is certain: the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium will be the epicenter of a night filled with respect, tribute, and high-octane boxing action.
