In an eagerly anticipated heavyweight clash, Jarrell ‘Big Baby’ Miller is set to return to the ring this Saturday, facing off against the undefeated Cuban southpaw, Lenier Pero. The bout will take place at the luxurious Fontainebleau in Las Vegas, promising an evening of high-stakes action for boxing enthusiasts worldwide.

Miller, boasting a record of 27-1-2 with 22 knockouts, is looking to build on his recent success. In January, he secured a split decision victory over Kingsley Ibeh in New York, marking a strong comeback following a draw with Andy Ruiz Jr. The 37-year-old heavyweight has been making headlines not just for his performances, but also for his charismatic antics, such as when his toupee was knocked off during a bout, which he famously threw into the crowd, much to the amusement of spectators.

On the other side of the ring, Lenier Pero, with an unblemished record of 13-0 and 8 knockouts, is ranked number two by the WBA, trailing only behind ‘super’ champion Oleksandr Usyk and ‘regular’ titlist Murat Gassiev. This bout serves as a crucial eliminator for the WBA crown, adding significant weight to the outcome. Pero, aged 33, has been steadily climbing the ranks, most recently overcoming a tough challenge from Jordan Thompson in January, securing a unanimous decision victory in Florida.
