As the anticipation builds for the upcoming Queensberry Promotions Magnificent 7 fight card, all eyes are on the rescheduled main event between Moses Itauma and Jermaine Franklin. The bout, set to take place on March 28 at the Co-op Live Arena in Manchester, promises to be a thrilling encounter. The event was originally slated for January 24 but was postponed due to Itauma suffering a torn bicep muscle.

Moses Itauma, with an impressive record of 13-0 and 11 KOs, has been a force to reckon with in the heavyweight division. His last fight saw him dispatch Dillian Whyte in the first round, adding to his string of victories that include knockouts of Demsey McKean and Mike Balogun. On the other hand, Jermaine Franklin, with a record of 24-2 and 15 KOs, is known for his durability, having gone the distance with both Joshua and Whyte. Franklin’s last fight was a career-best victory against the previously unbeaten Ivan Dychko.

Carl Froch, a renowned figure in the boxing world, has shared his predictions for the main event. Froch believes that Itauma will have an easy time against Franklin, potentially stopping him within six rounds. He cited Franklin’s relative inactivity over the past couple of years and average performance as factors that will contribute to Itauma’s victory. Froch praised Itauma’s talent, speed, and power, predicting that he will quickly overwhelm Franklin.

Looking ahead to Itauma’s future, Froch sees a potential showdown with Anthony Joshua. He believes that Joshua, who has suffered several defeats, is no longer the force he once was. Froch suggested that Joshua’s psychological and mental state is not what it used to be, and his heart may no longer be in the fight game. This, according to Froch, makes Joshua an ideal opponent for Itauma to look good against. He even went as far as predicting a victory for Itauma over Joshua.

The Magnificent 7 fight card is packed with exciting matchups. In addition to the main event, fans can look forward to bouts between Willy Hutchinson and Ezra Taylor, Zak Miller and Liam Davies, and Shakiel Thompson and Brad Pauls, among others. The event promises to be a night of high-octane action and unforgettable moments in the ring.

As the boxing world eagerly awaits the Itauma vs Franklin fight, all eyes will be on the rising star, Moses Itauma, and his potential path to greatness. With predictions of a bright future and potential victories over established names like Anthony Joshua, Itauma is certainly a fighter to watch.
