In the electrifying world of heavyweight boxing, Dillian Whyte has once again made headlines with his candid and bold predictions. The British heavyweight contender, known for his powerful performances in the ring, has shared his insights on two highly anticipated bouts: Derek Chisora’s showdown with Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury’s upcoming clash with Arslanbek Makhmudov.

Whyte, who has faced Chisora twice in his career, believes that the veteran British fighter has a genuine chance of knocking out Wilder. The two fighters first met in 2016, with Whyte securing a split-decision victory in a thrilling encounter at the Manchester Arena. This victory marked a significant milestone in Whyte’s career, showcasing his resilience and skill. Two years later, Whyte further solidified his reputation with another impressive win, demonstrating his ability to perform under pressure.

Reflecting on Chisora’s upcoming fight, Whyte stated, “Of course, he can KO him.” This bold prediction underscores Whyte’s belief in Chisora’s power and determination. Chisora, who has announced that this will be his final fight before retirement, is expected to bring his absolute best to the ring. Wilder, on the other hand, has expressed supreme confidence ahead of the bout, stating that his confidence is ‘through the roof.’

In addition to his thoughts on Chisora vs. Wilder, Whyte has also weighed in on Tyson Fury’s upcoming fight against Arslanbek Makhmudov. Whyte believes that Fury, known for his strategic fight selections, will have an easy time against Makhmudov. “Fury is very smart, he is very good at having these easy fights,” Whyte remarked. He went on to say, “I think Fury can come back when he is 60 and still beat Makhmudov.” This statement highlights Whyte’s respect for Fury’s skill and experience, as well as his belief in Fury’s ability to dominate his opponents.

Fury, who last fought in December 2024, lost to Oleksandr Usyk by unanimous decision. Despite this setback, Fury’s record of 34 wins (24 by knockout), two losses, and one draw speaks volumes about his prowess in the ring. Makhmudov, with a record of 21 wins (19 by knockout) and two losses, will undoubtedly be a formidable opponent, but Whyte’s comments suggest that Fury’s experience and strategic acumen will give him the edge.

As the boxing world eagerly awaits these high-stakes matches, Whyte’s predictions add an extra layer of excitement and anticipation. Whether Chisora can deliver a knockout blow to Wilder or Fury can continue his dominance against Makhmudov, one thing is certain: the heavyweight division is set for some thrilling action.
