Gervonta Davis Apprehended Following Two-Week Manhunt

Adding to Davis’s legal woes is a lawsuit filed by his former girlfriend Courtney Rossel in October 2025. The lawsuit accuses Davis of battery, aggravated battery, false imprisonment, kidnapping, and intentional infliction of emotional distress. Rossel is seeking punitive damages exceeding $50,000 and has requested a jury trial. Another ex-girlfriend had previously dropped a domestic violence case against Davis after choosing not to proceed.

Gervonta Davis is undeniably one of the most talented fighters of his generation. His ability to remain patient in fights and capitalize on openings is unparalleled.
