In a highly anticipated announcement, Team USA has revealed its 2026 Elite Men’s High Performance Team and Squad rosters, marking the dawn of a new era in American boxing. The unveiling took place on Monday, following an intense selection camp at the prestigious United States Olympic & Paralympic Training Center in Colorado Springs.

The selection process, which spanned from January 11 to February 11, was a rigorous test of skill, endurance, and determination. The Elite High Performance Team, comprising seven exceptional boxers, will represent Team USA on the international stage throughout the 2026 calendar year. Additionally, six more talented boxers have been selected for the High Performance Squad, ready to showcase their prowess in international competitions.

Team USA is poised for an action-packed year, with the Elite Team set to compete in four international events and the Squad entering two. The journey begins at the Strandja Tournament in Bulgaria, scheduled from February 19 to March 2. The Elite Team will then travel to Foz do Iguazu, Brazil, for the World Boxing Cup #1 from April 20 to 26, followed by the World Boxing Cup #2 in Guiyang City, China, from June 15 to 20. The year will culminate with the PanAmerican Championships in Puebla, Mexico, from October 10 to 17.

Meanwhile, the Squad will kick off their international campaign at the Gee Bee event in Finland from April 6 to 12. Their next challenge will be the Eindhoven Cup in The Netherlands, taking place from May 18 to 26.

The 2026 Elite Men’s Team roster is a formidable lineup, featuring Lorenzo Patricio from Waianae, Hawai’i, Salim Ellis-Bey from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Marcus Luther from Washington D.C, Lavant Brownlee from Louisville, Kentucky, Robby ‘Rahim’ Gonzales from Las Vegas, Nevada, Joseph Awinongya from Joliet, Illinois, and Kelvin Watts from Chesapeake, Virginia.

The Elite Men’s Squad roster is equally impressive, with Moises Rodriguez from El Paso, Texas, Yahir Diaz-Martinez from Winter Park, Florida, Tyric Trapp from Tinton Falls, New Jersey, Malachi Georges from Teaneck, New Jersey, Nnajai Wright from Richmond, Virginia, and Gilbert Kabamba from Boston, Massachusetts.

Under the expert guidance of Head Coach Billy Walsh and Elite Assistant Coach Edward Fonteneaux, along with Elite National Team Coach Nikki Burleson, Team USA is set to make waves in the international boxing scene.
