Tyson Fury has officially announced his return to the boxing ring, setting the stage for a highly anticipated comeback in 2026. The former heavyweight champion had declared his retirement in January 2023 after suffering back-to-back defeats against Oleksandr Usyk. However, in a surprising turn of events, Fury revealed his plans to make a triumphant return.

Taking to Instagram, Fury posted, ‘2026 is that year Return of the mac. Been away for a while but I’m back now, 37 years old and still punching. Nothing better to do than punch men in the face & get paid for it.’ This announcement has sparked widespread excitement among boxing enthusiasts and fans alike.

As speculation mounts over Fury’s potential opponents, there is growing anticipation that he may face long-time rival Anthony Joshua. Reports suggest that Fury could have a warm-up bout before taking on Joshua, adding an extra layer of intrigue to his comeback. The boxing world eagerly awaits further details on Fury’s return and the high-stakes matchups that lie ahead.
