In a groundbreaking move for women’s boxing, Most Valuable Promotions (MVP), co-founded by the renowned Jake Paul, has secured a multi-year agreement with the iconic Madison Square Garden Entertainment. This partnership is set to revolutionize the landscape of women’s boxing, bringing it to the forefront of the sporting world.

The inaugural event under this landmark deal will feature a highly anticipated fight card headlined by the formidable Alycia Baumgardner. Scheduled for April 17, this event will be broadcast on ESPN’s traditional cable channel, marking a significant milestone in the promotion of women’s boxing.

MVP has been at the vanguard of elevating women’s boxing, having previously orchestrated high-profile bouts such as the Amanda Serrano vs. Katie Taylor matches, which were livestreamed by Netflix in 2024 and 2025. Additionally, MVP made history with an all-women’s boxing card at Madison Square Garden in July, showcasing their commitment to the sport.

The agreement with ESPN, announced on March 6, is a testament to MVP’s dedication to creating a global platform for women’s boxing. This deal, which extends through 2028, will feature a series of events showcasing top-tier female boxers, including Caroline Dubois, Ellie Scotney, Shadasia Green, and Holly Holm.

One of the standout matches in the upcoming events will see unified women’s junior featherweight champion Ellie Scotney (11-0) take on WBA champion Mayelli Flores (13-1-1, 4 KOs) in a 10-round bout to determine the undisputed champion. Another exciting matchup will feature Chantelle Cameron (21-1, 8 KOs) moving up two divisions to face Michaela Kotaskova (11-0-4, 2 KOs) in a 10-round junior middleweight fight for the vacant WBO title.

Nakisa Bidarian and Jake Paul, co-founders of MVP, expressed their enthusiasm for this new era in women’s boxing. “Since our inception, MVP has strategically focused on creating an umbrella brand as the global home for women’s boxing, featuring the best fighters in the world,” they stated. “Our goal is to engage existing boxing fans and attract new demographics that embrace women’s sports. Today, we proudly enter a new era.”

This partnership between MVP and Madison Square Garden Entertainment, coupled with the ESPN deal, underscores a significant step forward in the promotion and recognition of women’s boxing. It promises to bring thrilling matches and unforgettable moments to fans worldwide, solidifying the sport’s place in the mainstream arena.
