As the anticipation builds for the ‘Ring 6’ fight card on January 31 at the iconic Madison Square Garden, all eyes are on the headline bout between Teofimo Lopez and Shakur Stevenson. The event, set to stream live, will see Lopez’s lineal and WBO super lightweight titles on the line. Adding to the excitement, Keyshawn Davis, who is scheduled to face Jamaine Ortiz on the undercard, has shared his insights on the main event.

Lopez, with a record of 22-1 and 13 KOs, recently shone on a Times Square card, securing a unanimous decision victory over Arnold Barboza Jr. The judges’ scorecards read 116-112, 116-112, and 118-110 in his favor. Meanwhile, Stevenson, boasting an unbeaten record of 24-0 with 11 KOs, delivered a career-best performance on the Ring III card, decisively defeating William Zepeda by unanimous decision with scores of 118-110 twice and 119-109.

In a recent interview, Davis offered his prediction for the Lopez vs Stevenson bout, stating, “I think that’s another fun matchup, and I feel like Shakur’s gonna beat him fairly easy. I’m not gonna lie to you. Teo knows exactly who he’s facing, and I just feel like Shakur is just so focused, so locked in.” Davis continued, “But not only that, I just feel like his IQ is just on a whole other level. Shakur’s IQ is crazy, for real, and he’s gonna show that, you know, January 31. He’s gonna show that he’s levels ahead of Teofimo, for sure.”

The full fight card for the evening includes several other exciting matchups:

    • Teofimo Lopez vs Shakur Stevenson, 12 rounds, for Lopez’s lineal/WBO super lightweight titles
    • Keyshawn Davis vs Jamaine Ortiz, 12 rounds, super lightweights
    • Bruce ‘Shu Shu’ Carrington vs Carlos Castro, 12 rounds, for vacant WBC featherweight title
    • Carlos Adames vs Austin ‘Ammo’ Williams, 12 rounds, for Adames’ WBC middleweight title
    • Jarrell Miller vs Kingsley Ibeh, 10 rounds, heavyweights
    • Ziyad Almayouf vs Kevin Castillo, 8 rounds, welterweights
    • Maxime Vaz vs TBA, 4 rounds, heavyweights
