Philadelphia, known for its rich boxing history, is set to witness another thrilling night of pugilistic action on Saturday, January 17th, at the iconic 2300 Arena. The main event features the undefeated and world-ranked heavyweight sensation, Dainier Pero, who is poised to showcase his skills in a seven-bout card promoted by King’s Promotions.

At just 26 years old, Dainier Pero, hailing from Miami via Camagüey, Cuba, has already made a significant impact in the heavyweight division. Currently ranked number seven by the WBA, Pero boasts an impressive record of 11-0 with eight knockouts. His amateur career was equally stellar, with gold medals at the 2019 Pan American Games and the 2016 Youth World Championships, as well as a stint at the 2020 Olympics. Since turning professional, Pero has continued to dominate, securing victories over notable opponents such as James Evans, Walter Burns, and most recently, a 10-round unanimous decision over Cesar Navarro in Orlando, Florida.

The undercard promises to deliver excitement as well, featuring a lineup of promising talent. In six-round bouts, Lemir Isom Riley of Harrisburg, PA, will face Joel Caudle of Raleigh, North Carolina. The lightweight division will see undefeated Mekhi Phillips of Maryland take on Yeuri Andujar of the Dominican Republic. Additionally, Pryce Sparrow of Radcliffe, Georgia, will compete against Eduardo Hernandez Trejo of Tijuana, Mexico, in a super lightweight bout.

Four-round bouts will introduce new faces and rising stars to the ring. Gabriel Colon of Philadelphia will make his professional debut against Soslan Alborov in a super welterweight bout. The young phenom, 16-year-old David Garcia of Las Vegas, will also be in action, taking on an opponent to be named in a bantamweight fight. Otabek Melikov of Philadelphia and Eduardo Corona of Brick Town, NJ, will also see action in their respective featherweight and lightweight bouts.

This event is not just about the main event but also about the future of boxing. The undercard fighters represent the next generation of talent, each with their own stories and aspirations. As the boxing world turns its eyes to Philadelphia, the 2300 Arena is set to be the stage for a night of unforgettable action and emerging stars.

Tickets for this exciting night of boxing are available at various price points, ensuring that fans of all levels can witness the action live. Don’t miss out on what promises to be a spectacular evening of boxing in the City of Brotherly Love.
