Las Vegas, NV (January 25th, 2026) — The UFC’s inaugural event on Paramount+ proved to be a night filled with thrilling action, remarkable comebacks, and unexpected outcomes. UFC 324 delivered a spectacle that will be etched in the memories of fight fans for years to come.

In the main event, Justin Gaethje, at 37 years old, made history by becoming the first fighter in UFC history to claim the interim lightweight title for a second time. Gaethje’s signature aggressive style and devastating power were on full display as he landed the more impactful shots against Paddy Pimblett. Pimblett, aged 31, showcased incredible resilience, surviving multiple knockdowns and a relentless assault from Gaethje, ultimately pushing the fight to a decision. Despite being sent to the hospital for precautionary checks, Pimblett vowed to make a strong return.

Sean O’Malley, also 31, snapped a two-fight losing streak with a hard-fought decision victory over Song Yadong. The 28-year-old Yadong’s style posed significant challenges for O’Malley, but O’Malley’s determination and grit in the final round secured him the win. In his post-fight interview, O’Malley called for a rematch with current champion Petr Yan, setting the stage for a potential title showdown.

In a potential flyweight title eliminator, Natalia Silva continued her impressive winning streak by defeating former strawweight champion Rose Namajunas via a unanimous decision in a closely contested and controversial bout. Silva, aged 28, and Namajunas, 33, engaged in a back-and-forth battle that kept fans on the edge of their seats.

The main card also featured a stunning upset as Waldo Cortes-Acosta, aged 34, handed Derrick Lewis his first TKO loss at 3:14 of the second round. Cortes-Acosta landed a sharp counter jab that dropped Lewis, followed by a series of ground strikes that prompted the referee to stop the fight. This victory marks a significant milestone in Cortes-Acosta’s career and signals his arrival as a formidable force in the heavyweight division.

Jean Silva, aged 29, kicked off the UFC 324 main card with a unanimous decision victory over Arnold Allen in a wild back-and-forth featherweight bout. The judges’ scorecards read 30-27, 29-28, and 29-28 in favor of Silva, who showcased his striking prowess and grappling skills throughout the fight.

The preliminary card saw Umar Nurmagomedov defeat Deiveson Figueiredo via a unanimous decision, with all three judges scoring the fight 30-27. Ateba Gautier also secured a unanimous decision victory over Andrey Pulyaev, while Nikita Krylov finished Modestas Bukauskas with a KO at 4:57 into the third round.

In the early preliminary bouts, Alex Perez defeated Charles Johnson via TKO at 3:16 into the first round. Josh Hokit and Ty Miller also secured TKO victories over Denzel Freeman and Adam Fugitt, respectively, both at 4:59 into the first round.

UFC 324 was a night of unforgettable moments, showcasing the heart, skill, and determination of the world’s best mixed martial artists. As the UFC continues to deliver thrilling events, fans can look forward to more exciting matchups and unforgettable nights of action.
