In the wake of his recent triumph over Ezra Taylor, Willy Hutchinson has set his sights on a familiar foe, Joshua Buatsi. The Scottish super-middleweight champion is eager to step back into the ring with Buatsi, confidently asserting that their potential rematch would be ‘easy work’.

Hutchinson’s first encounter with Buatsi took place in March 2019, where he faced a narrow points defeat. Despite the loss, Hutchinson has since bounced back, securing a impressive streak of victories. His latest win against Taylor has further fueled his desire to prove himself against Buatsi once again.

‘I’ve grown and improved significantly since our first fight,’ Hutchinson stated in a recent interview. ‘I’ve always believed in my abilities, and I’m more than ready to showcase them against Buatsi again. It’s a fight that I’m confident I can win, and I believe it will be easy work.’

The 26-year-old Hutchinson has been making waves in the super-middleweight division, with his aggressive style and knockout power earning him a reputation as a formidable opponent. His call-out to Buatsi is a clear indication of his ambition to climb the ranks and establish himself as a dominant force in the division.

Buatsi, on the other hand, has been on a meteoric rise since his amateur days, where he won a bronze medal at the 2016 Olympics. The 28-year-old has been steadily building his professional career, with an impressive record of 15 wins and no losses. A rematch with Hutchinson could present an intriguing challenge for Buatsi, as he continues to navigate his way through the super-middleweight landscape.

As the boxing world eagerly awaits a response from Buatsi’s camp, Hutchinson remains focused on his training, ready to prove his mettle should the rematch come to fruition. One thing is certain: if these two warriors meet again in the squared circle, fireworks are sure to follow.
