In a highly anticipated matchup, WBC junior middleweight champion Subriel Matias will put his title on the line against Dalton Smith on January 10. The bout, set to take place in Puerto Rico, promises to be an exciting contest between two skilled fighters.

Matias, who claimed the WBC title with a victory over Gabriel Rosado in April 2021, has since defended his belt once, stopping Hassan N’Dam in June 2022. The 28-year-old Puerto Rican has an impressive record of 22 wins, with 21 coming by knockout, and 1 draw.

Smith, a 26-year-old Australian, brings an undefeated record of 11 wins, all by knockout, to the table. He has been making waves in the junior middleweight division and will be looking to cause an upset and dethrone Matias.

The January 10 event will be a significant test for both fighters, with Matias aiming to further solidify his status as a champion and Smith seeking to make a name for himself on the world stage.
