In a highly anticipated rematch, Carlos Adames is poised to defend his WBC middleweight world title against Austin ‘Ammo’ Williams this Saturday at the Caribe Royale in Orlando. This bout, originally scheduled for January 31 in New York, was postponed due to Adames falling ill. Williams, however, remained on the card and secured a unanimous decision victory against Wendy Toussaint.

The 29-year-old southpaw, Williams, is vying for his first world title, riding a wave of four consecutive victories since his sole professional loss to Hamzah Sheeraz. Adames, on the other hand, faced Sheeraz in his last fight in February, retaining his belt in a controversial draw that left many believing the Dominican fighter had done enough to win.

At 31, Adames has only one blemish on his record—a points loss to Patrick Teixeira in 2019. The stage is set for a thrilling encounter as both fighters look to assert their dominance in the middleweight division.

    Fight Details

The fight is scheduled for Saturday, March 21, live from the Caribe Royale in Orlando. The broadcast will commence at 8pm ET/5pm PT/12am GMT (Sunday), with the main event expected to begin at approximately 10.30pm ET/7.30pm PT/3.30am GMT (Sunday).

    How to Watch

Fans worldwide can catch the action live on DAZN, ensuring a global audience for this high-stakes showdown.

    Recent Performances

Adames’ last three fights include a split decision victory over Hamzah Sheeraz, a unanimous decision win against Terrell Gausha, and a 9th round TKO against Julian Williams. Williams, meanwhile, has secured a unanimous decision against Wendy Toussaint, a 9th round TKO over Ivan Vazquez, and a unanimous decision victory against Patrice Volny.

    Undercard Highlights

The undercard features several promising matchups, including Jaycob Gomez vs Corey Marksman in a lightweight bout, Omari Jones vs Christian Gomez in the super welterweight category, and Teremoana Teremoana vs Curtis Harper in the heavyweight division. Other notable fights include Roberto Raul Rivera Gomez vs Belmar Preciado, Antraveous Ingram vs Christopher Thompson, Carlos Jamil De Leon Castro vs Damian Alcala, Jordan Orozco Hernandez vs Daniel Olea, and Junior Alcantara vs Israel Camacho.

This event promises to be a night of intense boxing action, with both the main event and undercard fights offering plenty of excitement for fans.
